How can I send you the document to be translated? |

If it is hard copies (printed docs, or for that matter soft copies in a Floppy or CD), you can hand deliver or courier them to our address provided in Contact page. In case of soft copies, you can send us through Email (preferable) or request for a FTP access on our server.
We assure you of absolutely secure transactions for file / document transfer over the internet. We will provide a place on our FTP server for our client and enable controlled access for all the personnel working on the project. |

The document will be delivered in the format specified by our client or depending on his requirement. We make use of all the major translation and DTP SW, hence can support all the formats. Please contact us with your requirement for a confirmation. |

The delivered document is generally a soft copy (in MS Word or PDF). But in case of hard copies, you can collect them from our office or we can send them in a courier. If it is a soft copy, it will be sent through Email or placed on FTP (in case of large volumes) or through courier in a CD / Floppy.

How much time will be required for final delivery? |

For documents time for delivery is three days - up to five pages can be done comfortably within this time except for some very complicated text. But time required can be estimated only after looking at the volume and complexity (amount of work involved). |

We will usually charge 50% of the total project amount as advance at the time of purchase order. The rest can be paid at the time of delivery. It also depends on the project and client, hence can vary on a case to case basis. |

Our charges are on per word (source or target) basis, words counted using MS Word’s word count utility. We do not charge extra for DTP or typesetting and also provide required fonts along with translation on request. |

No, per word charges are just for document translation – localization of Website or Software involves a lot of other work like designing and reengineering. Hence we can give a quote only after we know their exact reqquirements. Just go through the following sections to get an idea in the work involved |

On per word basis, DTP and proofreading charges are inclusive in this.

Per word charges for translation of content and per hour charges for designing. We do not charge anything extra for providing translated text in HTML format unless any designing is involved.

The charges for Localization depend on the factors like what is the client expecting us to do, is it just translation of the text provided to us, or does it involve extraction of strings and reengineering; is the client expecting us to handle reviewing part also if so where is it to be arranged. Hence, our quotation involves per word charges for translation, per hour charges for tasks like reengineering, reviewing, testing.
Some times SW Localization may involve multimedia Localization – i.e., Audio Visual content. This kind of service will be charged differently. It involves usual translation of the transcript (text in the audio) recording the translated text in studio using a voice over and editing of it in the studio to ensure correct text is being displayed with correct image. The text on images is to be translated too and it involves translation and designing. The files can be delivered in .wav or .mp3 formats.
The charges for Localization of audio files depend on the target language, volume of work, and client preferences like native speaker, male/female voice, file formats, recording preferences (studio / Dictaphone), etc.
Our quotation involves per word charges for translation, per hour charges for studio and translator time, editing charges, and designing charges.
